Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Haminall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haminall comes into the arena with The Sound of Silence by Simon & Garfunkle blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Matt Haminall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Williams! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haminall shoots in and bounces Williams off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Williams wants to stand up but Haminall is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Williams being controlled here, momentarily. Williams is pulling down on Haminall's head. It's preventing any offense from Haminall, at least for the moment. Williams is looking to stand up but Haminall isn't so interested in that idea. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Williams lands a nice looking kick to the body. Haminall takes a step back to recover. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Haminall fails with the takedown. Haminall shoots in and drives through. Williams sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams closes the distance and clinches. Williams lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. The referee is keeping an eye on Williams - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Williams creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Matt Haminall has been cut. Williams stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Knees to the body from Williams.
Haminall is breathing heavily. Williams controlling the action here for a moment.

Haminall fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Williams avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Haminall. That's going to take a lot out of him. Williams slaps away a takedown attempt from Haminall, before circling back to the center of the mat. Williams has closed the distance and engaged Haminall in a clinch.
Williams digs a right hand underneath Haminall's ribcage. Haminall let out a lung full of air as it connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williams lands a body punch in the clinch. A right handed body shot lands from Williams.

Williams lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Williams lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Williams breaks the clinch.
Williams dips to his left and cracks Haminall with an uppercut! Williams clinches up against the cage. Williams works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Williams lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Williams breaks from the clinch.
Haminall has his takedown stuffed and Williams counters with a right hand that sends Haminall tumbling to the canvas! Can Williams finish him? He dives into Haminall's guard looking to do just that!
Haminall is rocked! Williams controlling from the top position. Williams wanted to stand there but Haminall had control of the position.

Williams stands and steps away. Haminall gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Williams clinches with his opponent.

Williams throws a front kick that sends Haminall stumbling back into the cage. Williams tries to clinch there but Haminall circles away.
Williams tries to clinch up but Haminall circles away and keeps his distance. Williams fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Williams gets in close and tags Haminall with a short punch that almost sends Haminall to the mat! Oh Haminall is in big trouble! He turns his back on Williams, trying to create some distance but Williams rushes him, striking wildly and Haminall goes down! The referee tackles Williams into the cage to end the fight! Williams is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Williams!
