Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tabor Nok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Ctvrtlik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tabor Nok! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Ctvrtlik! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ctvrtlik shoots for a takedown but Nok saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ctvrtlik leaves Nok with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Nok misses with a head kick.
Nok closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ctvrtlik circles away. Ctvrtlik looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nok is fending him off so far but Ctvrtlik persists. Nope, Nok circles away and we're back to standing. Nok decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Nok seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Nok trying to pass the guard but Ctvrtlik defending well. Ctvrtlik wants to control but Nok is keeping busy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Nok wants to control but Ctvrtlik is keeping him busy. Ctvrtlik trying to control here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Nok throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ctvrtlik's waist but Ctvrtlik gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nok off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tabor Nok. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from Nok. No joy for Ctvrtlik on that attempt. Nok looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Ctvrtlik working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nok doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nok manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Nok trying to control but Ctvrtlik is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nok controlling from the top position. Nok tries to free his leg and advance position but Ctvrtlik is retaining full guard. Nok trying to control the position from guard on top but Ctvrtlik is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Ctvrtlik has his foot on Nok's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nok works his way back into a safe position though. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nok looking to pass the guard. Ctvrtlik trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nok avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Nok has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Nok wants to pass the guard but Ctvrtlik is keeping the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ctvrtlik looking for a guillotine here but Nok defends easily.
Nok slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nok swings around for an armbar but Ctvrtlik sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Nok's guard. Nok on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nok tries to get out of the position. Ctvrtlik in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Nok trying to control the position.
Nok throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ctvrtlik escapes and throws Nok's legs to the side, diving into side control! Ctvrtlik thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ctvrtlik stands up and we're back to a striking position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tabor Nok will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Nok gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ctvrtlik to score an easy takedown into full guard. Nok is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Nok knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ctvrtlik on the ground. Ctvrtlik postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ctvrtlik advances nicely into full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ctvrtlik is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Nok has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Ctvrtlik throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Nok because Ctvrtlik loaded up on that one. Nok wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Ctvrtlik has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Nok is in real trouble here. Ctvrtlik gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Nok is tapping out! Ctvrtlik wins by rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bob Ctvrtlik!
