The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Labayen clinches up against the cage.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Labayen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tribianne's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tribianne dives in and grabs Labayen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Labayen pushes down on Tribianne's head and hops out.

Tribianne wants to control but Labayen is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Labayen jumps into guard, dragging Tribianne to the mat.

Labayen has his foot on Tribianne's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tribianne works his way back into a safe position though.
Tribianne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Labayen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tribianne throws and elbow that misses. Labayen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tribianne's guard. Nice move by Labayen!
Labayen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

It looks like Joey Tribianne has been cut.
Labayen scores with the left hand. Tribianne knows he should have avoided that one.

Tribianne reaches up to try and control the position but Labayen seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Tribianne rolls and tries to escape and now Labayen has his back!
