Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Chad Campbell and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards shoots in and drives through. Stann sprawls well.
Stann throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stann misses with the combination.
Stann throws a leg kick that misses.
Stann cracks Edwards with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Stann misses with a wild body shot.
Stann tries to score with a low kick but Edwards moves his leg out of the way.
Edwards avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Stann keeps the fight on the outside.
Stann getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
No joy there for Stann, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Edwards doesn't manage to clinch there - Stann circles away.
Edwards closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stann circles away.
Nice sprawl there from Stann as Edwards shoots in.

Edwards shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stann pinned against the cage. Stann gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Stann counters with a left to the body.
Stann moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
A jab from Stann finds it's way through Edwards's defenses.
Stann connects with the punch.
Edwards shoots in but no luck this time.
Edwards shoots in but Stann avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Stann pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Stann wants to land a leg kick but Edwards is out of range.

Edwards darts in and clinches Stann up against the cage.

Stann manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Edwards jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stann walks away with a smile on his face. Edwards gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Edwards avoids the head kick by Stann.
Stann lands a leg kick that knocks Edwards off balance momentarily.
Brian Stann is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Edwards shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stann as he avoids it easily.
Edwards is breathing heavily.
Stann lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Edwards backs up against the cage.
Brian Stann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stann scores with a jab to the body.
Stann lands a head shot.
Edwards is rocked!
Edwards finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Stann's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Edwards falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brian Stann!
