Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yimi Yuskevich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rankka Ankka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ankka comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Milk - The Knife Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rankka Ankka acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yimi Yuskevich! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Rankka Ankka! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yuskevich throws a leg kick but Ankka sees it coming and moves out of range. Yuskevich throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Ankka connects with a crisp jab. Yuskevich tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Ankka closes the distance and pushes Yuskevich back into the cage. Yuskevich misses with a hook from the clinch. A nice right hand lands inside from Ankka. Yuskevich misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Yuskevich has a couple of punches blocked by Ankka.
Ankka throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Yuskevich blocks it with crossed arms. Ankka scores with a nice hook to the head. Yuskevich gets control of Ankka's arms and successfully pulls guard. Yuskevich will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Ankka wants to control from the top but Yuskevich keeps moving. Ankka must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Yuskevich preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Ankka trying to control the position from guard on top but Yuskevich is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ankka in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Yuskevich is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ankka defends well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ankka postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Ankka pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Yuskevich is keeping the position for now. Ankka engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Ankka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yuskevich swivels though and keeps the full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yuskevich working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ankka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ankka manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ankka trying to control but Yuskevich is working from the bottom. Ankka slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Rankka Ankka has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. A bone on bone clash there as Ankka blocks the leg kick.

Ankka moves into range and clinches up with Yuskevich. Ankka tries to work over Yuskevich's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Ankka with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Yimi Yuskevich has been cut.

Yuskevich takes a shot to the head. Yuskevich jumps guard but Ankka stands there with Yuskevich around his waist. Yuskevich gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ankka trying to control but Yuskevich is working from the bottom. Ankka not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Yuskevich might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Yuskevich has his foot on Ankka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ankka works his way back into a safe position though. Ankka tries to free his leg and advance position but Yuskevich is retaining full guard. Ankka pushes down on Yuskevich's leg and manages to get into half guard. Ankka lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Yuskevich wants to improve his position but Ankka is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ankka seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Ankka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yuskevich keeps working. This has been an exciting period of action! Yuskevich wants to improve his position but Ankka is controlling well.
Ankka perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Ankka is trying to control. Yuskevich wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rankka Ankka. Ankka checks a low kick from Yuskevich. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Yuskevich gets tackled into the cage by Ankka. Ankka maintains the clinch. A short right from Ankka. Ankka blocks a body shot from Yuskevich. Ankka using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Yuskevich has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rankka Ankka dominated that round. The cut man is working on Yimi Yuskevich's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ankka creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Yuskevich working aggressively here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yuskevich tries to pull guard but Ankka won't allow it.
Yuskevich is trying to force a seperation but Ankka has the dominant position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ankka lands on the inside with an uppercut. Ankka lands a knee to the body.

Ankka pushes Yuskevich back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Ankka lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Ankka lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Good body shot from Ankka.

Yuskevich is rocked! Ankka lands with a short shot to the head. Oh Yuskevich is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ankka connects with a nasty looking knee right to Yuskevich's face.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ankka working the clinch nicely. Yuskevich is working for position but Ankka cracks him with a big knee to the head! Yuskevich crumples up against the cage and Ankka lands two more shots before the ref can save Yuskevich! This one is all over!
