Pumbleski has chosen STAIND as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ican Pumbleski! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monsterson throws a leg kick which misses Pumbleski's front leg but catches the back leg as Pumbleski tries to avoid it. Pumbleski takes a swing at Monsterson's ribcage but misses. Monsterson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Pumbleski misses with a hook. Monsterson ducked under it nicely. Monsterson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Monsterson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sloppy strikes from Pumbleski. Those never looked like landing. Pumbleski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Monsterson moves forwards but Pumbleski connects with a nice, crisp jab. Monsterson tries to clinch there but Pumbleski circles away.
Pumbleski throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Pumbleski throws a hook to the side of Monsterson's head but Monsterson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A swing and a miss from Pumbleski. Monsterson defending well as Pumbleski loads up on a big left hand. Pumbleski connects with a looping right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monsterson misses with a hook. Ican Pumbleski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pumbleski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Pumbleski looks to score with a jab to the body but Monsterson is just out of range. Pumbleski throws a lazy right hand but Monsterson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Monsterson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Monsterson moves out of range as Pumbleski strikes. A punch combination from Pumbleski misses. Pumbleski misses with an uppercut. Monsterson saw that one coming. Monsterson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Pumbleski swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Monsterson ducks under a wild hook from Pumbleski. Monsterson delivers a nice body kick. Pumbleski throws a right hand that Monsterson ducks under and follows up with a left that Monsterson also avoids with ease. Pumbleski looks to throw the jab but Monsterson is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Monsterson cracks the inside of Pumbleski's front leg. Pumbleski misses with a looping right. A slow jab from Pumbleski misses its intended target. Monsterson moves away from the strike by Pumbleski. Monsterson throws a head kick that misses. Pumbleski misses with a lunging right hand
and Monsterson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pumbleski wants to control but Monsterson is keeping busy.
Pumbleski blocking the ground and pound attempt from Monsterson. Monsterson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pumbleski's head. Monsterson prevents Pumbleski from improving his position. Monsterson wants to advance to full mount but Pumbleski doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Monsterson throwing strikes but missing. Pumbleski wants to stand and escape but Monsterson is having none of it. Pumbleski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Monsterson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Pumbleski is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Monsterson wants to pass the guard but Pumbleski is keeping the position. Monsterson throws a big right hand that misses. Monsterson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Monsterson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pumbleski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Monsterson has managed to get both his arms back between Pumbleski's legs - danger averted. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Monsterson trying to control but Pumbleski is working from the bottom. Monsterson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pumbleski is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Monsterson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Monsterson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Monsterson landing some decent shots from guard. Monsterson throwing strikes but missing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ican Pumbleski dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Monsterson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Monsterson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Pumbleski wants to control but Monsterson postures up. Monsterson wants to control but Pumbleski is keeping him busy. Monsterson is working Pumbleski over with some ground and pound from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pumbleski prevents Monsterson from improving position. Monsterson tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Pumbleski tries to buck Monsterson off but Monsterson is having none of it. Pumbleski dodges the ground and pound from Monsterson. Monsterson working the ground and pound but Pumbleski is defending the strikes. Monsterson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pumbleski keeps working. Pumbleski prevents Monsterson from moving into mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Pumbleski's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Monsterson scoring with punches and elbows. Pumbleski is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Monsterson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Pumbleski is refusing to be controlled, as Monsterson sits in half guard. Pumbleski gets back to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pumbleski keeping moving, preventing Monsterson from controlling successfully. Monsterson throwing strikes from guard but Pumbleski blocks nicely. Pumbleski looking for a guillotine here but Monsterson defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Monsterson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Pumbleski pushes a forearm under Monsterson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Monsterson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
