Carthew comes into the arena with Straight out of Compton blaring out of the sound system. Cutty Winstone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carthew shoots in for a double leg but Winstone sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Carthew shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Winstone pinned against the cage. Winstone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Both fighters circling a little - Winstone finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Carthew tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Winstone swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Carthew. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice takedown defense from Winstone. No joy for Carthew on that attempt.

Winstone throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Carthew is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Winstone throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Carthew.
It looks like Bobby Carthew has been cut.
Carthew tries to keep at a distance but Winstone has taken the fight into the clinch.
Winstone looks to throw an elbow but misses.
With the fighters up against the cage, Winstone throws an elbow but misses.
Carthew blocks an elbow strike.
Winstone keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Carthew's efforts to push away.
Winstone manages to break the clinch.
Carthew shoots for a double leg takedown but Winstone sprawls well. He's pushed Carthew's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Winstone pushes Carthew up against the cage in a clinch.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Carthew. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Winstone throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Winstone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Winstone cracks Carthew with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Carthew displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Winstone throws out the jab.
Cutty Winstone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Winstone lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Carthew crumples to the floor! Winstone milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
