Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerome Le Banner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexander Zebra! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zebra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Le Banner is fending him off so far but Zebra persists. Nope, Le Banner circles away and we're back to standing. Zebra on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Zebra tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Le Banner manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Le Banner gets in close and instigates a clinch. Zebra tries to stall but Le Banner uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Le Banner decides to pull guard. Le Banner keeping full guard, as Zebra tries to pass. Le Banner is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Zebra is looking to advance position but Le Banner has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Zebra is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zebra is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Zebra sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Le Banner prevents Zebra from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Le Banner prevents Zebra from standing back up.
The fighters are battling for position here. Zebra manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Zebra avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Zebra keeping moving, preventing Le Banner from controlling successfully. Zebra wants to stand and escape but Le Banner is having none of it. Le Banner postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Le Banner stopping the sweep attempt from Zebra. Le Banner tries to free his leg and advance position but Zebra is retaining full guard. Le Banner looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Zebra wants to stand up but Le Banner is controlling him.
Jerome Le Banner has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Zebra lands with a nice combination. Le Banner backs away looking to recover.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zebra tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Le Banner manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Le Banner keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Le Banner is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Le Banner moves into the clinch. Zebra taking a breather. Le Banner manages to break the clinch.
Le Banner tries to close the distance and clinch but Zebra swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Zebra throws a sloppy head kick and Le Banner holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Le Banner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Le Banner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
No luck for Zebra with that takedown attempt. Jerome Le Banner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Zebra.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zebra shoots in for a takedown but Le Banner shows good takedown defense. Zebra takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Zebra looks gassed! Le Banner forces Zebra back against the cage and clinches. Le Banner pressing his opponent against the cage. Le Banner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Zebra is trying hard to land a takedown here. Le Banner sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zebra wants to clinch but Le Banner slips to the side and Le Banner finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Le Banner keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. The fight moves into the clinch position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jerome Le Banner will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Le Banner lands a big head kick that sends Zebra tumbling to the mat! Le Banner takes a step backwards and waves Zebra back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Alexander Zebra has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A low kick from Zebra is predictable there and Le Banner counters with a good low kick that Zebra was not able to check. Le Banner closes the distance and pushes Zebra back into the cage. Le Banner drags the fight down to the ground.
Le Banner looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Zebra puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Zebra is breathing heavily. Zebra is trying to control. Le Banner wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Le Banner is concentrating on defense, preventing Zebra from advancing position. Le Banner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Zebra changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Le Banner tries to avoid it but Zebra manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Le Banner to the ground. Le Banner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jerome Le Banner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Zebra. Le Banner moves into the clinch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Le Banner obliges. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! That has opened up Alexander Zebra's cut even more. Le Banner stalls. Zebra wants to break free but Le Banner has control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Le Banner keeps control of Zebra as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Zebra is looking to control Le Banner's arms but Le Banner gets an underhook and turns him. Now Zebra has his back to the cage. Jerome Le Banner has scored more points in the clinch so far. Zebra has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Le Banner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Zebra throws a lazy right hand but Le Banner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Le Banner moves into the clinch. Le Banner putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Zebra in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Le Banner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Zebra tries to keep at a distance but Le Banner has taken the fight into the clinch. Le Banner pulls guard effortlessly. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jerome Le Banner dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Alexander Zebra's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
That kick from Le Banner tenderised Zebra's leg. Zebra is trying to keep his angry face on. Le Banner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Le Banner wants it to stay on the feet. Le Banner gets in close and instigates a clinch. Le Banner dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Zebra working hard to break the clinch. Le Banner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jerome Le Banner is winning the standup battle so far. Zebra tries to score a power double leg takedown but Le Banner sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zebra somewhat. Zebra gets tackled into the cage by Le Banner. Le Banner maintains the clinch. Zebra takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Le Banner is pushing Zebra up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Le Banner breaks the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Le Banner closes the distance and clinches. Le Banner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Zebra keeps the fight on the outside. Le Banner gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Zebra is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Zebra trying to control but Le Banner is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zebra stands up and waves to Le Banner to follow him. Le Banner gets a clinch. Zebra jumps guard but Le Banner stands there with Zebra around his waist. Zebra gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! Jerome Le Banner showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Le Banner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
