Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Asylbek Malybaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Medeiros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Medeiros has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Asylbek Malybaev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malybaev shoots in for a takedown but Medeiros shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Medeiros looks gassed!
Medeiros gets tackled into the cage by Malybaev. Malybaev maintains the clinch.
Malybaev looking for a takedown.
Malybaev jumps guard and drags Medeiros to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Malybaev is on top in guard.
Malybaev really is a fat lump.
Malybaev is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Asylbek Malybaev just wasn't active enough.
Malybaev shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Medeiros defends it nicely.

Medeiros takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Medeiros really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Malybaev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
