Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Salvador Cannon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boss Castro!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro cracks Cannon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Cannon closes the distance and clinches up with Castro, looking for a takedown. Cannon pushes Castro against the cage but Castro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cannon gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Cannon misses with a straight right.

Cannon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Castro manages to avoid it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cannon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Castro pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Cannon for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Salvador Cannon.
I think Cannon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
