Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard Guinness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Forester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George Forester is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Guinness!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, George Forester!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Forester shoots in and bounces Guinness off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Forester throws a big right hand that misses.
Guinness is trying to keep Forester in close.

Forester drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Forester jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Guinness wants to stand but Forester is controlling the position.
Guinness trying to keep a closed guard but Forester is proving a slippery customer.

Guinness looking for a guillotine here but Forester defends easily.

Forester drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Forester jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Forester advances position into side control!
Guinness is looking for a sweep.
Forester landing a few strikes.
Guinness takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
You can see the frustration on Guinness's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Forester tries for a kimura but Guinness is defending well.
Guinness is trying to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Forester is trying to get an arm triangle but Guinness is defending well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Forester wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Guinness, who protects the arm well.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Forester tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Guinness is trying to improve his position.
Forester looks up at the clock and then as Guinness takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Forester smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Guinness struggling a bit here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Forester is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Guinness knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Guinness is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Guinness tries to get to full guard but Forester has control of the leg.

Forester is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Guinness is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). George Forester!
