Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacek Halman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Butch Lee! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Halman blocks a leg kick. Lee throws a head kick that misses. Halman gets the takedown into side control. Halman takes a little break here. Lee wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Lee is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Lee trying to remain calm as Halman controls from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Jacek Halman wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Lee looks for a takedown but Halman sprawls well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee wants to clinch up but Halman keeps it at a distance. Halman shoots in and drives through. Lee sprawls well. Halman looking to score a takedown here. Lee is defending well but Halman drives through and ends up in Lee's guard. Halman stays in close to Lee's body and controls the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Jacek Halman just wasn't active enough. Halman shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee scores with a head kick.
Lee wants to clinch but Halman slips to the side and Halman counters with a nice body shot. Lee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Halman takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Lee misses with a wild combination.
Lee tries to clinch up but Halman circles away and keeps his distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee scores with a one two! Halman had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Lee fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lee misses with a hook. Halman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacek Halman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lee lands a high kick!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lee misses with a wild combination.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch but Halman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee shoots in but Halman avoids the takedown attempt easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jacek Halman will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Halman counters with a takedown into side control. Lee being controlled for a moment. Halman working the ground and pound. Halman controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Halman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Halman feints and as Lee raises his hands in defense, Halman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Halman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jacek Halman wasn't doing enough on the ground. Lee tries to bum rush Halman with a series of wild strikes but Halman uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lee shoots in for a takedown but Halman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lee misses with a looping right. Halman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Nice takedown defense from Halman. No joy for Lee on that attempt. Lee misses with a left hand and Halman counters with a left and a right that hurts Lee! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Halman jumps into full mount! Lee is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Halman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jacek Halman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jacek Halman has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Halman swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Halman shoots in and drives through. Lee sprawls well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jacek Halman dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
A head kick misses from Lee. Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Halman moves out of range easily. Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Butch Lee seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lee fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lee defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Halman. Lee tries to clinch up. Lee misses with a hook. Halman ducked under it nicely. Halman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Halman is chipping away with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Halman passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Lee! Halman controlling from the full mount. Lee working to try and regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Halman is in the full mount, landing strikes. Halman controlling the position easily from mount. Halman scoring with strikes but Lee is staying in there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee wants to try and get back to his feet. Halman lands a nice shot to the head. Halman looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
And that's the end of the fight! Jacek Halman showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Halman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
