Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Ryder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paris Ericsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Ryder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paris Ericsson! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Ericsson as Ryder shoots in. Ryder shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Ryder avoids the attempt from Ericsson to control. Ryder trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ryder misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Ericsson reaches up to try and control the position but Ryder seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Ericsson rolls and tries to escape and now Ryder has his back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ericsson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Ryder is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Ericsson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Ericsson trying to hold on to Ryder's head to control him but Ryder postures up.
Ericsson manages to get to full guard.
Ericsson controls Ryder momentarily but Ryder frees himself. Ryder looking to sit in guard and control but Ericsson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ericsson drops back looking for a leg! Ryder is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ryder manages to kick Ericsson off! Ericsson jumps back into Ryder's guard. Ryder looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ericsson is one step ahead there. Ericsson wants to control from the top but Ryder keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ericsson sitting in guard, not really doing much. Ericsson wants to control from the top but Ryder keeps moving. Ryder looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ericsson has picked Ryder up and slammed him! Ryder can't keep hold of the triangle and Ericsson manages to pass to side control! Ericsson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Ryder to his feet. Ryder gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ericsson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Ryder wants to sweep here but Ericsson controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryder will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Ryder really is a fat lump. Ericsson stopping the sweep attempt from Ryder. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ryder looking for a guillotine here but Ericsson defends easily.
Ryder is breathing heavily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ericsson trying to control the position from guard on top but Ryder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paris Ericsson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ericsson moves out of range of the body kick from Ryder.
Ericsson shoots in looking for a takedown. Ryder tries to sprawl out of it but Ericsson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ryder manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ryder tries to clinch up but Ericsson circles away and keeps his distance. Ericsson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ericsson is working an open guard so Ryder takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Ryder looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ryder misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Ericsson counters by clinching up. A quick uppercut on the inside from Ryder. Ryder is trying to break the clinch but Ericsson is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryder tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ericsson just stands there and leans against the cage. Ryder blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Ryder tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ericsson smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dylan Ryder. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ericsson moves in looking to clinch but Ryder pushes him off. Ryder uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ericsson has time to react. Ericsson shoots in looking for a takedown but Ryder manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ericsson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ryder fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ryder avoids the head kick by Ericsson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryder throws a head kick but Ericsson moves out of range.
Ericsson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ericsson. Ericsson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ryder is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Ericsson jumps into guard, dragging Ryder to the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ericsson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ericsson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ryder doesn't defend quickly enough and Ericsson has managed to lock this one up! Can Ryder escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ericsson on a fantastic submission victory.
