Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frito Bandito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franklin comes to the cage accompanied by Bring Da Ruckus. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frito Bandito!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Bandito misses.
Bandito misses with a right hand
and Franklin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Franklin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bandito.
Bandito tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Franklin was well out of range. Poor timing from Bandito.
Franklin ducks under a wild hook from Bandito.
Bandito throws a right hand that misses
and Franklin counters with a shoot takedown. Bandito fights it but they end up in guard.
Bandito looking for a sweep. Not yet Bandito, not yet.
Franklin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Bandito is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Franklin is controlling him.
Franklin with a flurry of punches that miss.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Franklin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bandito's head.

Franklin takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Bandito tries to get to full guard but Franklin has control of the leg.
Bandito won't allow Franklin to pass to mount.

Bandito pushes Franklin off looking to stand but Franklin dives back in and keeps control.
Bandito is in trouble now - Franklin has advanced to mount!
Bandito wants to get back to his feet.
Bandito is trying desperately to improve position.
Franklin wants to control but Bandito has made it back to half guard. Nice work.
Franklin missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Franklin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bandito defends it well.

Bandito is not content to let Franklin control the position.

Well, if Franklin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Franklin is trying to control. Bandito wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Franklin perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
We're going to have a standup here because John Franklin wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Franklin slips a straight right by Bandito.
Bandito just misses with a punch to the body.
Franklin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Bandito fails to land with a series of punches.

and Franklin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Franklin.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bandito not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Franklin advances to half guard.
Bandito keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Franklin passes to side control.
Franklin passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Bandito!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Franklin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Franklin lands a nice shot to the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Franklin working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Franklin working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Franklin pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Franklin dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bandito takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Franklin jabs at Bandito's body.
Bandito thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bandito displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Franklin.
Bandito avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

letting Franklin counter with a right hand.
Bandito will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Franklin lands a head kick. Bandito smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bandito cracks Franklin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Franklin misses the shot to the body.

Nice straight punches there by Franklin. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Franklin.
Franklin Rushes Bandito and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Bandito is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Franklin Piles on the pressure and Bandito crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Franklin!
