Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyreke Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Builder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Builder's choice of entrance music: Destroy Everything. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Builder lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Evans backs up against the cage.
Builder tries to clinch there but Evans circles away.
Builder is looking to clinch. Evans tries to clinch but Builder moves out of range. Evans misses with a double jab.
Builder throws a right and a left that both miss. Builder throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Builder has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Evans finds it's way round the side to connect with Builder's head. Builder throws a leg kick but Evans checks it. Builder wants to clinch up but Evans keeps it at a distance. Evans misses with a double jab.
Builder throws a right and a left that Evans avoids nicely. Builder looks to clinch and Evans counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Evans lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Evans scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Builder doesn't seem bothered though. Builder looks gassed!

Bob Builder is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Builder throws a hook but Evans avoids it easily. The fight moves into the clinch position. Builder has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Evans is struggling to control the position. Nice body punch from Evans - that landed with a thud.

Builder lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Evans circles away quickly and effectively. Builder misses with a two punch combination.

Bob Builder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Builder throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Evans. Builder closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Evans smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Builder darts in trying to clinch and Evans counters with a series of strikes that sends Builder to the canvas! Evans follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Builder is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Evans passes Builder's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Evans is trying to control. Builder wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Evans passes the guard and advances to mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Evans scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Evans slips a jab and a cross from Builder.
Builder will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Builder wants to clinch up but Evans keeps it at a distance. Evans throws a looping overhand right but Builder ducks down to avoid it. Tyreke Evans is winning the standup battle so far. Evans takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Evans shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Builder as he jumps to the side. Builder throws a sloppy head kick and Evans moves out of range easily. Builder doesn't manage to clinch there - Evans circles away.
Builder rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Evans moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Builder is looking to clinch but Evans is avoiding it.
Evans rushes Builder and presses him up against the cage. Evans lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Evans is working hard here to advance position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Evans in particular looking to stall. Builder wants to improve his position but Evans is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Well, if Evans is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Evans wants to take a breather but Builder is having none of it. Evans missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Evans wants to control but Builder is keeping him busy. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Evans is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Builder is staying active underneath Evans, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Builder misses with some strikes from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evans is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Builder defends it well. Evans is pressing down on Builder's thigh, looking to free his foot. Builder is holding on for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Evans wants to take a breather but Builder is having none of it. Evans seems to be looking for submissions.
Builder tries to get to full guard but Evans has control of the leg. Evans passes the guard and advances to mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Builder taking shots to the head. Builder is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Evans is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Evans extends the arm and Builder is forced to tap!
