Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vasiliy Konovalov! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Konovalov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Konovalov is looking to clinch. Krajewski keeps the fight on the outside. A solid leg kick lands there for Konovalov.
Konovalov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Krajewski to score an easy takedown into full guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Konovalov is pulling down on Krajewski's head to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krajewski drops back, looking for a kneebar! Konovalov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Konovalov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Konovalov! Krajewski is breathing heavily. Krajewski is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Konovalov trying to control the action but Krajewski is working from the bottom. Krajewski is trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krajewski manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Krajewski is looking to improve his position.
Konovalov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Krajewski keeps working. Konovalov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krajewski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Krajewski looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Krajewski looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krajewski actively working from the bottom here. Konovalov slows the pace down in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Krajewski is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Konovalov pulls his head out easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krajewski looking for submissions off his back. Konovalov is looking to take a break and control but Krajewski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Krajewski looking for submissions off his back. Krajewski looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Karol Krajewski will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Konovalov tries to clinch but Krajewski is having none of it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krajewski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krajewski has hold of Konovalov's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Konovalov manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Konovalov tries to lock up and control but Krajewski gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Krajewski looking to secure an arm triangle but Konovalov defends it well. Konovalov is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Krajewski jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Konovalov is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Konovalov and Krajewski has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Konovalov is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Krajewski has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Konovalov wants to control but Krajewski postures up. Krajewski thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Konovalov can't do much from the bottom here. Krajewski is working to tighten is grip on Konovalov's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Konovalov has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Krajewski is really squeezing tight and eventually Konovalov passes out! Krajewski breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
