Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hitoshi Masaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Kahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kahn has chosen Boris Brejcha - Flockentanz as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Hitoshi Masaru! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Oliver Kahn! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kahn blocks a head kick by Masaru.
Kahn looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Masaru is fending him off so far but Kahn persists. Nope, Masaru circles away and we're back to standing. Kahn doesn't succeed with the takedown and Masaru counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kahn is lucky that one didn't land flush. Kahn looks for a takedown but Masaru sprawls well. Hitoshi Masaru has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oliver Kahn. Kahn throws a nice looking combination but Masaru bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A head kick misses from Masaru. Kahn tries for a takedown but Masaru circles away easily and Masaru counters with a nice leg kick. Masaru stuffs the takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kahn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Masaru fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kahn. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Masaru scores with a head kick. Kahn tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Oliver Kahn has been cut. Masaru pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Masaru throws a nice inside leg kick. A head kick from Masaru lands but Kahn takes it in his stride. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Masaru, right into the meat.
Kahn checks a leg kick. Kahn is trying desperately to land a takedown but Masaru is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kahn.

Kahn misses with a takedown attempt and Masaru counters with a head kick. That will keep Kahn thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Oliver Kahn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Masaru pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kahn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Masaru counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Kahn! This one is all over!
