Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Brookins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johan Stryker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Brookins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johan Stryker! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brookins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stryker getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Stryker is looking to clinch.
Brookins drives through with a takedown into Stryker's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Brookins has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Stryker has a closed guard, preventing Brookins from standing up. Brookins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stryker is on top in guard.

Stryker stands up and waves to Brookins to follow him. Stryker tries to clinch but Brookins moves out of range.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Stryker lands with a slapping head kick. Brookins dives in and grabs Stryker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stryker pushes down on Brookins's head and hops out. Stryker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stryker throws a head kick that Brookins semi-blocks.

Brookins is rocked! Stryker is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Stryker tries to clinch there but Brookins circles away.
Brookins throws a right and a left that both miss. Brookins is breathing heavily. Stryker tries to close the distance and clinch but Brookins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Stryker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stryker throws a right hand that Brookins ducks under and follows up with a left that Brookins also avoids with ease.
Brookins closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stryker did well to prevent Brookins getting side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stryker is not content to let Brookins control the position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Stryker is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brookins wants to control but Stryker is keeping him busy. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Stryker blocking the ground and pound attempt from Brookins.
 We're going to have a standup here because Mark Brookins wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Stryker lands with a kick to the ribs.
Stryker pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Brookins closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Stryker connects with a knee to the head.
Stryker gets underhooks to prevent Brookins's takedown attempt.
Stryker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Stryker wants to clinch. Brookins avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Brookins swinging wildly here.
Stryker moves into the clinch. Brookins takes a knee right on the jaw!
Stryker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brookins stuffs the takedown attempt from Stryker. Stryker gets slowly back to his feet. Stryker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Stryker tries to clinch there but Brookins circles away.
Stryker throws a head kick but Brookins moves out of range.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Stryker misses the jab. Brookins takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Stryker lands a head kick. Brookins smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Brookins feints a jab promting Stryker to slip. Brookins then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Stryker slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Stryker connects with a high kick.
Stryker gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Brookins to score an easy takedown into full guard. Stryker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Johan Stryker dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Brookins gets a clinch. Stryker gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Brookins.
Stryker lands a knee to the head.
Stryker crunches a lovely knee into Brookins's ribcage. Brookins can't get the takedown.

A battle for position here, against the cage. Stryker lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stryker lands a nice knee to the body.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Stryker is looking to control Brookins's arms but Brookins gets an underhook and turns him. Now Stryker has his back to the cage.
Stryker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stryker misses with a body kick. Stryker throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Brookins manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stryker on his heels. He'll look to pass Stryker's guard now, I'm sure. Stryker keeping full guard, as Brookins tries to pass. Brookins looking to sit in guard and control but Stryker gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Stryker keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brookins's head.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stryker stands up from guard. Let's bang! Brookins swats away the attempt to clinch by Stryker. Stryker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stryker wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Brookins. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stryker moves in looking to clinch but Brookins pushes him off. Stryker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Brookins avoids a kick to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stryker looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Stryker wants to clinch up but Brookins keeps it at a distance. Stryker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stryker is looking to clinch but Brookins is avoiding it.

Brookins forces Stryker back against the cage and clinches.
Stryker ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Stryker no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Brookins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stryker swivels though and keeps the full guard. Stryker keeping moving, preventing Brookins from controlling successfully. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Stryker is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Mark Brookins overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Johan Stryker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
