Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Erick Bryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Kamphius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fabricio Kamphius is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Erick Bryan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabricio Kamphius! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kamphius tries to clinch there but Bryan circles away.
Bryan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kamphius cracks the inside of Bryan's front leg. Kamphius wants to clinch. Bryan wants to clinch up but Kamphius keeps it at a distance. Kamphius looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bryan is fending him off so far but Kamphius persists. Nope, Bryan circles away and we're back to standing. Bryan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kamphius looks for a takedown but Bryan sprawls well. Kamphius scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bryan in his tracks. Bryan lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kamphius backs up against the cage.
Bryan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bryan pushes Kamphius up against the cage in a clinch. Kamphius jumps guard but Bryan stands there with Kamphius around his waist. Kamphius gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Erick Bryan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabricio Kamphius. Bryan drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kamphius gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kamphius struggles to land a body shot inside as Bryan controls his hands.
Kamphius jumps guard but Bryan stands there with Kamphius around his waist. Kamphius gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kamphius blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. The referee calls for Bryan to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bryan breaks from the clinch.
Kamphius throws a right hand that Bryan ducks under and follows up with a left that Bryan also avoids with ease. Kamphius with a lazy takedown attempt and Bryan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Bryan clinches up against the cage. Kamphius jumps guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Bryan looking to sit in guard and control but Kamphius gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bryan is trying to control the position but Kamphius postures up. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kamphius wants to control from the top but Bryan keeps moving. Kamphius sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kamphius drops back looking for a leg! Bryan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bryan manages to kick Kamphius off! Kamphius jumps back into Bryan's guard. Kamphius postures up.
Bryan keeping moving, preventing Kamphius from controlling successfully. Kamphius stopping the sweep attempt from Bryan. Kamphius trying to control but Bryan is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bryan looking to control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kamphius looks for a takedown but Bryan sprawls well. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kamphius. Bryan moves into the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bryan gets a trip takedown into half guard. Kamphius misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Kamphius kicks Bryan off and gets back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Erick Bryan will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
A head kick misses from Bryan. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Kamphius avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bryan works over Kamphius's head and body with a nice combination. Bryan throws a series of punches but Kamphius moves out of range. Kamphius avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kamphius fails in his attempt to clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position. Bryan pressing his opponent against the cage. Kamphius has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bryan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Kamphius prevents Bryan from breaking the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kamphius pulls guard effortlessly. Kamphius is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bryan wants to control from the top but Kamphius keeps moving. Bryan is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kamphius has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bryan is looking to defend but Kamphius has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bryan! Kamphius pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bryan taps out and this one is all over!
