Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meremaa takes a swing at James's ribcage but misses.
James lands a nice leg kick that just misses Meremaa's sensitive parts.
Meremaa connects with a looping right hand.
James doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Meremaa counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
James pivots, looking for a leg kick but Meremaa is out of range and James settles back down.

Meremaa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Meremaa wants it to stay on the feet.
James fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Meremaa avoids it really well and circles away.

James is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Meremaa asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Meremaa is looking to take a break and control but James is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

James closes this distance looking for a takedown but Meremaa circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

James closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Geraldo James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Meremaa counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The fighters circle momentarily. Meremaa darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
James throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Meremaa's waist but Meremaa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James off to one side.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
James will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Meremaa connects with a body shot that sends James's belly button to the back.
James fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Meremaa feints a jab promting James to slip. Meremaa then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. James slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
James walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Meremaa uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before James has time to react.

This has been an exciting period of action!

James tries to get to full guard but Meremaa has control of the leg.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Juhan Meremaa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

James walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles James limp body while Meremaa jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
