Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Arashi Yamada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marvin De Leon!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Leon takes the fight into the clinch.
De Leon struggles to land a body shot inside as Yamada controls his hands.
De Leon gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Yamada wants to improve his position but De Leon is controlling well.
Yamada knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for De Leon on the ground.
De Leon performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
De Leon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Yamada does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
De Leon thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

De Leon trying to control from half guard but Yamada is working away.
De Leon is pressing down on Yamada's thigh, looking to free his foot. Yamada is holding on for now.
De Leon thows a huge punch but Yamada dodges it nicely.
De Leon seems to be working for a kimura but Yamada defends the submission attempt.

De Leon stalling away here and it's allowed Yamada to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
De Leon wants to pass the guard but Yamada is keeping the position.
De Leon is looking to work some ground and pound but Yamada has wrist control.
Yamada keeping moving, preventing De Leon from controlling successfully.
De Leon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Yamada's guard.

De Leon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Yamada doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time De Leon.
Yamada is trying to control but can't.
De Leon sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Yamada defending well though.
De Leon is working for a kimura here but Yamada manages to reverse the position and he's now in De Leon's guard.

De Leon is looking to sinch up a triangle. Yamada throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to De Leon's body to avoid the submission. De Leon has instead reached around Yamada's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! De Leon arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
