Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jean Pierre Babin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian McPherson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Babin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to South Park - Let's Fighting Love. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Jean Pierre Babin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jean Pierre Babin! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ian McPherson! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McPherson. McPherson throws a lazy right hand but Babin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Babin tries to sprawl but McPherson drives through with a takedown into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. McPherson passes to full mount! McPherson scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Babin?

Babin blocking the ground and pound. Babin is in a horrible position here. McPherson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
This has been an exciting period of action! Babin avoids a series of strikes thrown by McPherson.

Babin tries to lock up and control but McPherson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Babin is desperately trying to improve his position but McPherson has a good base and remains in mount. Babin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McPherson on the ground. Babin taking shots to the head. Babin is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's one minute gone in the round. McPherson looking to control but Babin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. McPherson lands a big elbow. McPherson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Babin is rocked! Babin is trying desperately to improve position. Babin is working hard here to advance position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McPherson raining down hammerfists from mount. Oh Babin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Babin tries to reverse the position but McPherson maintains control. Babin seems to have got his legs back now. McPherson working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Babin turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips McPherson off and cradles Babin's limp body as McPherson celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Ian McPherson! Ian McPherson retains his middleweight title!
