The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szyszkowski has a takedown stuffed.

It looks like Artur Szyszkowski has been cut.
Bokya misses with the combination.
Szyszkowski shoots in looking for a takedown. Bokya tries to sprawl out of it but Szyszkowski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bokya manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Szyszkowski throws and elbow that misses. Bokya uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Szyszkowski's guard. Nice move by Bokya!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Artur Szyszkowski.
Bokya pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That kick from Bokya tenderised Szyszkowski's leg. Szyszkowski is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bokya dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Szyszkowski. That did some damage!
Bokya throws a series of punches but Szyszkowski avoids them all with ease.
Bokya throws a sloppy head kick and Szyszkowski moves out of range easily.

Artur Szyszkowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Szyszkowski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bokya's waist but Bokya gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Szyszkowski off to one side.

Szyszkowski fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bokya avoids it really well and circles away.
Bokya throws a combination. Szyszkowski tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Szyszkowski shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bokya pinned against the cage. Bokya gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Bokya paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Bokya scores with a crisp jab that stopped Szyszkowski in his tracks.

Szyszkowski decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Szyszkowski is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bokya is just riding it out for now. Szyszkowski eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Szyszkowski is working for a kimura but Bokya is defending it quite comfortably.

Szyszkowski is thwarting Bokya's attempts to control the position.
Bokya is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Szyszkowski looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Szyszkowski is working for a submission of some sort.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bokya leaves Szyszkowski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Szyszkowski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Szyszkowski has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bokya.
Szyszkowski looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bokya is fending him off so far but Szyszkowski persists. Nope, Bokya circles away and we're back to standing.
Bokya throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Szyszkowski takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Szyszkowski shoots in for a takedown but Bokya shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bokya lands an uppercut, right on the button! Szyszkowski tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
