Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saul Laski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller closes this distance looking for a takedown but Laski circles away. Miller tries to clinch up but Laski circles away and keeps his distance. Miller fails with an attempt to clinch.
Miller tries to clinch but fails miserably and Laski counters with a nice double leg into side control. Miller won't be happy with that. Miller trying to remain calm as Laski controls from the top position. Laski stands up and beckons Miller to his feet. Miller throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Laski's waist but Laski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miller off to one side. Miller slips under a jab from Laski. Laski stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. This has been an exciting period of action! Miller shoots in for a takedown but Laski shows good takedown defense. Laski rushes Miller and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Laski pulls guard effortlessly. Laski is looking to stand up but Miller isn't so interested in that idea. Miller keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Laski's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Laski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Miller thows a big elbow that misses. Laski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Miller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Laski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Miller has managed to get both his arms back between Laski's legs - danger averted. Laski kicks Miller off and gets to his feet. Miller leaves Laski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Miller lands a two punch combo.
Laski closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Miller's guard. Laski looks gassed! Laski has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Miller is proving hard to escape from. Laski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller looking for a guillotine here but Laski defends easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Miller looking to hit a scissor sweep but Laski is one step ahead there. Laski is stalling in the full guard. Miller working a defensive guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Laski decides to stand and escape the position. Laski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Miller misses with a combination
so Laski counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. This has been an exciting period of action! Miller trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Miller is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Laski defends well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Laski not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Saul Laski dominated that round. That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Miller shoots for a double leg takedown but Laski sprawls well. He's pushed Miller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Laski darts in and clinches Miller up against the cage. Laski turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! You can see the frustration on Miller's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Miller is trying to escape the position but Laski is controlling the position. Miller is looking to reverse the position. Laski wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Miller, who protects the arm well. Miller manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice strikes from Miller there. Laski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Miller's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Miller's back! Miller grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Miller is trying to remain composed but Laski is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller wants to control his opponent's hands but Laski gets his hands free. Laski patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Laski is breathing heavily. Laski really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Miller. Miller trying to control the position but Laski manages to sink in the hooks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Laski controls the position. Miller prevents Laski from getting a body triangle. Miller trying to control the position but Laski manages to sink in the hooks. This has been an exciting period of action! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Miller rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Laski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Laski with the ground and pound but Miller uses the opportunity to regain guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Laski sitting in guard, not really doing much. Laski looking to pass the guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Saul Laski was stalling too much, according to the referee. Nice jab there from Miller.
It looks like Saul Laski has been cut. Laski closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Laski fails to pull guard.
Laski is trying to trip Miller. He has hold of a leg but Miller is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Laski persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Miller trying to control the position.
Miller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Laski seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Saul Laski has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller keeping moving, preventing Laski from controlling successfully. Miller working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Laski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Laski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Miller is trying to control the position from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miller wants to stand up but Laski is controlling him. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Miller looking for a sweep. Not yet Miller, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Saul Laski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Saul Laski's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Miller shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Laski sprawls well. Laski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Miller gets slowly back to his feet. Laski shoots in and bounces Miller off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Laski working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Laski content to stall in guard here. Laski pushing down on Miller's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Laski works his way into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Laski wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy. Laski stands up. Laski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Laski takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Miller fails with the takedown and Laski counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Miller! Miller is looking to improve his position but Laski isn't that keen on the idea. Miller is working hard here to advance position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Laski content just to control the position here. Miller wants to hold on but Laski pushes him away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Laski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Laski landing strikes from the mount and Miller is in trouble! Laski unloading with bombs! Miller can't escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Laski has control of Miller's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Miller regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Laski controlling from mount. Miller is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Miller is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller tries to hold on but Laski postures up. Laski looking to control and managing it successfully. Laski looking to control but Miller is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Miller really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Laski with a couple of short strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Saul Laski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Laski winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
