Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mac Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvin Cahoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calvin Cahoon told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mac Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Calvin Cahoon!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cahoon shoots in for a takedown but Davis shows good takedown defense.
Davis slips a jab and a cross from Cahoon.
A head kick by Cahoon misses
and Davis counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cahoon's guard now.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Davis has gone for a leg lock! Cahoon slips out almost immediately though and dives into Davis's guard.
Cahoon controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Davis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Davis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cahoon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Davis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cahoon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davis tries to avoid it but Cahoon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davis to the ground. Davis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Cahoon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
