Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kross Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gimme the Loot. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kross Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robbie Rock! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rock feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Burnss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Rock shoots in for a double leg but Burns sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Rock fails in his attempt to clinch. Burns fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. No luck for Burns with that takedown attempt. Rock tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rock throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rock gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Burns wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kross Burns. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rock is working for takedown but Burns is calmly controlling the position for now. Rock tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Burns's elbow. Rock working hard to break the clinch. Rock gets underhooks to prevent Burns's takedown attempt.
Burns fails to pull guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns lands a shoulder strike. Burns misses with a hook to the ribs.
Rock breaks from the clinch.
Burns has his takedown stuffed and Rock counters with a nice double leg into guard. Burns tries to land a sweep but no joy. Burns working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rock doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rock manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Burns is looking for a triangle but Rock pushes his legs off easily.
Burns escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rock gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Burns is breathing heavily. Burns working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rock doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rock manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burns had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rock defends it easily. Rock slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Burns not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rock trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Burns is trying to keep Rock in close.
Rock advances position into side control! Rock just content to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burns is trying to improve his position. Burns regains half guard. Rock is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Burns has managed to free his arm - good work. Burns looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Rock lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Rock wants to stand up but Burns is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burns controlling the position for now. Burns regains full guard. Nicely done. Burns working for a triangle but Rock defends it easily.
Rock works over Burns with some ground and pound from guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rock trying to control the position from guard on top but Burns is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Burns trying to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kross Burns will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Burns moves into the clinch. Burns is looking to control Rock's arms but Rock gets an underhook and turns him. Now Burns has his back to the cage. Burns ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Burns no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Rock scoring with punches to the head and body. Burns looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rock pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Burns is keeping the position for now. Burns looking for a guillotine here but Rock defends easily.
Burns is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Rock has his hands clasped together but Burns extends an breaks Rock's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Burns.
