Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Dennis, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Dennis against the cage but Dennis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dennis fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Silva avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Dennis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dennis shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Silva stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Silva wants it to stay on the feet.
Thiago Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billie Dennis.
Dennis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Dennis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dennis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dennis throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
Dennis moves into the clinch.

Dennis manages to pull guard.
Dennis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silva stops Dennis from standing up.
Silva pushes down on Dennis's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dennis wants to get back to full guard.
Dennis keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Silva is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dennis is looking to get back to is feet but Silva passes into side control.

Billie Dennis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
