The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothschild avoids a punch combination nicely.
Svensson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rothschild's waist but Rothschild gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Svensson off to one side.
Svensson throws a head kick but Rothschild moves out of range.
Rothschild shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Rothschild not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Svensson is breathing heavily.
Rothschild uses his free foot to push down on Svensson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Svensson.
Rothschild has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Svensson's face.
Rothschild throws some wild stikes that Svensson manages to avoid easily.
