Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Amongero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Satoshi Kajiwara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Roberto Amongero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Satoshi Kajiwara!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Amongero does no damage.
Amongero throws a series of punches but Kajiwara moves out of range.
Kajiwara fails with the takedown.
Amongero stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Amongero wants it to stay on the feet.
Amongero fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Amongero dips to his left and cracks Kajiwara with an uppercut!


It looks like Satoshi Kajiwara has been cut.
Kajiwara takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kajiwara is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Kajiwara or perhaps it was just good defense by Amongero which made him look bad.
Roberto Amongero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Satoshi Kajiwara.
Kajiwara shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Amongero as he avoids it easily.
Kajiwara changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Amongero tries to avoid it but Kajiwara manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Amongero to the ground. Amongero escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Amongero tries to bum rush Kajiwara with a series of wild strikes but Kajiwara uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Amongero keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Amongero scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Amongero misses with a wild combination.
Roberto Amongero is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Amongero lands with an uppercut that bounces Kajiwara off the cage and back into rage.
Kajiwara tries for a takedown but Amongero sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kajiwara looks gassed!
Amongero scores with a one two! Kajiwara had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.


That has opened up Satoshi Kajiwara's cut even more.
Kajiwara shoots in looking for a takedown but Amongero manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kajiwara's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A leg kick checked by Amongero.
Kajiwara takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Amongero throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Kajiwara's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Amongero dives in looking to finish as Kajiwara flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Amongero's strikes! Amongero is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Kajiwara's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Kajiwara was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roberto Amongero!
