Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luisito Pallagud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luisito Pallagud! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sam Stout! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pallagud throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stout's waist but Stout gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pallagud off to one side. Stout tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Stout stuffs the takedown. Pallagud gets in close and instigates a clinch. Pallagud gets control of Stout's arms and successfully pulls guard. Pallagud will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Pallagud is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stout is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pallagud keeping moving, preventing Stout from controlling successfully. Stout trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pallagud has a closed guard, preventing Stout from standing up. Pallagud has his foot on Stout's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stout works his way back into a safe position though. Stout is fighting to break Pallagud's control of his arms but Pallagud is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stout trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Stout stopping the sweep attempt from Pallagud. Pallagud on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pallagud tries to get out of the position. Pallagud trying to control the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Pallagud throws a body punch but Stout moves out of range. Stout drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pallagud is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Stout content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stout tries for a kimura but Pallagud is defending well. Pallagud gets back to half guard. Pallagud trying to control here.
Stout trying to mount his opponent but Pallagud defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pallagud slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pallagud is on top in guard.
Stout working for a triangle but Pallagud defends it easily.
Stout is working an open guard so Pallagud takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pallagud tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stout swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luisito Pallagud. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stout shoots in and drives through. Pallagud sprawls well. Pallagud wants to clinch. Stout closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pallagud circles away. Pallagud shoots in for a takedown but Stout shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Stout shoots in looking for a takedown but Pallagud manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stout's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Stout looks gassed! Pallagud rushes Stout and presses him up against the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stout on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Pallagud is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stout sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. The fight moves into the clinch position. Pallagud breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Pallagud throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Stout shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pallagud but Pallagud pushes him off and we're back to square one. Pallagud closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Pallagud wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stout keeps working. Pallagud scoring with punches from side control. Pallagud stands up and beckons Stout to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stout avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pallagud looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Stout misses with a few strikes there.
Stout changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Pallagud tries to close the distance and clinch but Stout swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pallagud shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stout as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luisito Pallagud. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pallagud tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stout swivels and escapes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stout stuffs the takedown. Stout lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stout throws a head kick that Pallagud semi-blocks.
Pallagud moves in looking to clinch but Stout pushes him off. Pallagud looks for the body kick but Stout saw that one coming. Pallagud stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pallagud wants it to stay on the feet. Stout fails in his attempt to clinch. Stout pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Pallagud back to the cage. Stout follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Pallagud has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pallagud has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Stout clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Stout tries to break free.
Stout really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pallagud. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pallagud is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Stout defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Pallagud cracks Stout with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Stout from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Pallagud scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Pallagud. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Stout is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Pallagud has Stout flattened out and is raining down punches. Stout is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pallagud trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Stout is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Stout gets caught napping as Pallagud dives in and scores a takedown. Stout manages to retain guard. Stout has his foot on Pallagud's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pallagud works his way back into a safe position though. Pallagud is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Pallagud scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Pallagud stands and steps away. Stout gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Pallagud shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stout defends it nicely. Pallagud takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jab by Stout. Pallagud bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Pallagud stands up and beckons Stout to his feet. Stout looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Some wild striking there from Pallagud.

Pallagud swats away the attempt to clinch by Stout. Stout lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Pallagud slaps away a takedown attempt from Stout, before circling back to the center of the mat. Stout shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pallagud pinned against the cage. Pallagud gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Luisito Pallagud has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Stout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pallagud has closed the distance and engaged Stout in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pallagud is trying to force a seperation but Stout has the dominant position. Pallagud lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Pallagud has Stout pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stout manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Stout tries to pull guard but Pallagud won't allow it.

Stout keeping moving, preventing Pallagud from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Stout looking for subs off his back but Pallagud has passed one foot through into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Luisito Pallagud showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pallagud, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
