Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Seth Elowitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Corey Smith was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith takes a swing at Elowitz's ribcage but misses. Corey Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Elowitz is just out of range. Elowitz takes a body punch but keeps moving. Excellent takedown into side control there by Elowitz. Elowitz is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Smith has escaped the position, nice work there. Elowitz tries to advance to mount but can't. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smith can do anything to dispel that myth. Smith can't do much from the bottom here. Elowitz thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Smith is trying to escape and Elowitz transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Smith is forced to tap! Nice work there by Elowitz! Very nice indeed!
