The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armando misses with a series of wild punches.

Armando pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Pollock back to the cage. Armando follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Armando fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Pollock to the ground. Armando is now in Pollock's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Pollock preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Pollock lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Armando circles away quickly and effectively.

Nice uppercut lands for Armando. That snapped Pollock's head back.
Pollock shoots in for a takedown but Armando shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Armando has managed to clinch.

Pollock tries a body shot but Armando blocks it.
Pollock is trying to force a seperation but Armando has the dominant position.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Armando is looking to control Pollock's arms but Pollock gets an underhook and turns him. Now Armando has his back to the cage.

Pollock shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Armando defends it nicely.
Pollock walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Pollock throws a low kick but Armando moves out of range easily.

A slapping leg kick lands for Armando.

Pollock takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Armando lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pollock's sensitive parts.

It looks like Diego Armando has been cut.
Pollock on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Armando. Pollock shrugs it off though.

Armando lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Pollock has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Pollock there as he acknowledges the shot.

Armando shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Armando slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Armando lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
