Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Belin Billet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noel Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Billet comes into the arena with in your face blaring out of the sound system. Smith has chosen Duality - Slipknot as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Billet looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Billet throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab.
Billet thuds his right hand into Smith's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Billet throws a head kick that misses.
Smith digs a good body shot into Billet's ribs.
Billet misses with a low kick as Smith jumps back.
Smith connects with a single shot there.
Smith ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Billet throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Billet misses with a straight left.
Belin Billet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Billet chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A clash of legs there as Smith blocks the low kick.
No luck for Smith with that takedown attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smith ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Billet moves away.
Belin Billet is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Smith misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Billet counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Smith throws a series of punches but Billet avoids them all with ease.
Billet is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smith.
Smith changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Billet lands a high kick!
Billet scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Smith doesn't seem bothered though.
Billet is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.
Smith swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
The referee is keeping an eye on Billet - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smith tries to stall but Billet uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
A head punch on the inside from Billet fails to land.
Smith wants to get back to striking at distance but Billet won't allow it.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Smith will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Billet up against the cage.
Smith takes a shot to the head.
Billet lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Smith's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Billet lands an elbow just above Smith 's eye.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Smith is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Billet has denied him.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Noel Smith.
Smith takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Billet misses the shot to the body.
Billet buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Billet tries to clinch up.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Billet. Smith shrugs it off though.
Billet jabs at Smith's body.
Billet pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Billet does a little dance to reset his feet.
Smith misses with a shot to the body
and Billet counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Billet throws a nice head kick!

Billet misses with a low kick.
Smith lands with an uppercut that bounces Billet off the cage and back into rage.
A telegraphed right hand from Billet misses the target.
Billet takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Billet takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Billet fails to land with a series of punches.
Billet moves away from the strike by Smith.
Jab from Billet.
Smith goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Smith is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Billet rather than just go for the knockout.
Billet moves into the clinch successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Smith throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Smith on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Billet stuffs the takedown attempt from Smith. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.
Billet lands a lovely overhand right.
Billet misses with an uppercut. Smith saw that one coming.
Billet instigates a clinch.

Smith blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Smith blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Smith lands an elbow inside.
Billet blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
A bit of stalling here from Billet.

Billet trying to stall but Smith improves his position.

Smith avoiding damage as Billet throws knees to the body.
Billet is looking to control Smith's arms but Smith gets an underhook and turns him. Now Billet has his back to the cage.
Smith is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Billet is keeping busy.

Smith is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage.

Billet creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Smith with a big uppercut! Smith tries to clinch up but Billet pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Smith to the mat! Smith covers up and Billet unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
