Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Matt Guy has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Guy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Tanner! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tanner manages to avoid it. Guy throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Tanner counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tanner. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Tanner controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Guy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Tanner thows a big elbow that misses. Tanner controls from within his opponent's guard. Guy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Guy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tanner missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Tanner working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Guy's head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tanner slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tanner misses with a wild body shot. A telegraphed right hand from Guy misses the target. Guy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Guy on the wrong end of a nice hook. Guy throws a looping overhand right but Tanner ducks down to avoid it. Guy throws a jab when Tanner was well out of range. Guy connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Guy misses with a wild body shot. A telegraphed right hand from Guy misses the target. Matt Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tanner misses with a hook. Guy ducked under it nicely. Tanner gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Guy. Tanner throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Tanner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Guy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Tanner gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Tanner moves away from the strike by Guy. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Guy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tanner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Guy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Guy parries the strikes from Tanner easily there. Tanner is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Guy to escape.

Tanner scores with punches from side control. Tanner controls the position from side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tanner postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Tanner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Guy on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tanner works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Tanner landing a few strikes.
Guy is rocked! Tanner scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Guy is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Tanner can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Danny Tanner!
