Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brandon McMillan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaime Lener (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McMillan comes to the ring accompanied by "Remember the Name" by Fort Minor. Brandon McMillan had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brandon McMillan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jaime Lener! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McMillan shoots in looking for a takedown. Lener tries to sprawl out of it but McMillan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Lener manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. McMillan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. McMillan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lener. McMillan takes a body punch but keeps moving. Lener clinches up against the ropes. Lener breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McMillan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon McMillan. That's going to take a lot out of him. McMillan stuffs the takedown. McMillan shoots in but no luck this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lener darts in and clinches McMillan up against the ropes. McMillan wants a takedown.
Lener breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lener digs a good body shot into McMillan's ribs. Lener circles away from the clinch attempt.
McMillan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. McMillan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lener displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. A nice combination there by Lener.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lener is trying hard to land a takedown here. McMillan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McMillan moves out of range of the leg kick from Lener. Lener gets a clinch. Lener manages to break the clinch.
McMillan misses with a takedown and McMillan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. McMillan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. McMillan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. McMillan looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
McMillan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lener defends well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lener is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jaime Lener dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
McMillan doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lener counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Lener is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. McMillan tries for a takedown but Lener sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. McMillan shoots in looking for a takedown but Lener manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McMillan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon McMillan. That's going to take a lot out of him. McMillan misses with a left hand and Lener counters with a right hand to the body. Lener slaps away a takedown attempt from McMillan, before circling back to the center of the mat. Lener drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lener tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. McMillan throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's one minute gone in the round. McMillan tries to improve position but can't. McMillan prevents Lener from improving position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Lener staying calm. Lener tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. McMillan tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McMillan manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Lener really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McMillan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McMillan passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lener! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Lener blocking the ground and pound. McMillan working Lener over with strikes here. Lener blocking the ground and pound. Lener is looking to get to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lener is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. McMillan locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Lener is forced to tap!
