Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Miika Iceman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bang Du (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Du is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Unholy Confession. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Miika Iceman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bang Du! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Du drops Iceman with a left and a right! Oh, Iceman is hurt - Du dives into side control looking to finish!
Iceman is rocked!
It looks like Miika Iceman has been cut. Iceman tries to buck Du off but Du is having none of it. Oh Iceman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Iceman seems to have got his legs back now. Du working away. Iceman is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Iceman is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Iceman avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Du.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Iceman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Du's guard. Iceman is looking to stand up but Du won't let him. Iceman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Iceman trying to control the position from guard on top but Du is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Iceman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Du is striking off his back. Iceman thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Du is looking for a sweep. Iceman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Du is trying to control but can't.
Du is trying to stand.
Iceman wants to stand but Du has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Iceman is breathing heavily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Du lands with a thumping leg kick.
Du blocks a head kick by Iceman.
Du cracks Iceman with an open hand slap. Bang Du is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Iceman takes a jab right on the kisser.
Iceman keeps the fight on the outside.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Du scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Du throws a nice outside leg kick. Iceman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Iceman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Iceman lands in his opponent's guard. Iceman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Du works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Du wants to get back to his feet but Iceman is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Iceman scoring with some ground and pound. Iceman not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Iceman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Iceman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Iceman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Iceman looking to pass the guard. Iceman sitting in guard, not really doing much. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bang Du dominated that round. The cut man is working on Miika Iceman's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Decent striking displayed by Du there. Du throws a lazy head kick and Iceman counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Du! Iceman controlling from the full mount. Iceman goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Du is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Du trying to control the position from guard on top but Iceman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Iceman is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Du has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Iceman is proving hard to escape from. Du is breathing heavily. Du wants to control from the top but Iceman keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Iceman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Iceman doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Du wants to control from the top but Iceman keeps moving. Iceman has control of Du's left arm, preventing Du from doing any damage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A solid leg kick lands there for Du.
Iceman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Du as he avoids it easily. Iceman shoots in for a double leg but Du sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Du closes the distance but Iceman moves to the side and Iceman counters with a shoot takedown. Du fights it but they end up in guard. Iceman is stalling in the full guard. Iceman is looking to work some ground and pound but Du has wrist control. Iceman not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Du wants to stand up but Iceman is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Du avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Du has momentary wrist control but Iceman slips an elbow through the middle. Iceman with a flurry of punches that miss. Du being controlled here, momentarily. Iceman has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miika Iceman dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Miika Iceman's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Iceman instigates a clinch. Iceman drags the fight down to the ground.
Du postures up.
Iceman seems keen to control Du's posture. Iceman wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Iceman wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Du is now in half guard. Du is keen to just control but Iceman is a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Iceman is trying is best to control the position here.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Miika Iceman just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Du closes the distance but Iceman moves to the side and Iceman counters with a takedown into side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Du pushes Iceman away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Iceman gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Iceman takes a little break here. Du wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Iceman swings around for an armbar but Du sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Iceman's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Du stands up and waves to Iceman to follow him. Iceman has managed to clinch.
Iceman wants the takedown. Du is fighting it off but Iceman persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Du's guard against the cage. Du can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Iceman controls the pace. Iceman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Du tries to keep at a distance but Iceman has taken the fight into the clinch. Stalling in the clinch from Iceman.

Iceman manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Iceman pulls Du in to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Du looking to sit in guard and control but Iceman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Iceman looking to pass the guard. Iceman controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Iceman passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. A lull in the action here. Miika Iceman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Du takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Iceman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Du knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Iceman decides to stand back up. Iceman steps back and let's Du get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Miika Iceman showed his dominance in that final round. I think Iceman has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
