Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hassel closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Eklund wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Hassel misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Eklund tries to pull guard but Hassel holds him up against the cage and eventually Eklund drops back down to his feet.
Hassel trying to control the position but instead, Eklund has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hassel into the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Hassel.
Eklund wants to get back to striking at distance but Hassel won't allow it.
Eklund wants to break free but Hassel has control.
Eklund is trying to push Hassel away but Hassel has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Hassel tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Eklund's elbow.
Eklund is trying to break free.
A right hook to the body lands for Hassel.
A short right from Hassel.
A nice right hand lands inside from Hassel.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hassel blocks an uppercut.
Hassel content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Hassel scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Hassel scores with a nice hook to the head.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Hassel.
Eklund pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hassel drops Eklund with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Eklund looks back up at him and smiles so Hassel waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Eklund is rocked!
Eklund misses the body punch
and Hassel counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Eklund off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Hassel follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Eklund was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Chris Hassel!
