Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kustaa Pohjanala! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pohjanala is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Skipper shoots in for a double leg but Pohjanala sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Pohjanala misses with a head kick.
Pohjanala throws a nice looking combination but Skipper bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Skipper shoots for a takedown but Pohjanala saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Skipper looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pohjanala! Pohjanala is trying to escape the mount.
Skipper moves to back control. Skipper is looking for the choke from the back position but Pohjanala is controlling his hands well. Skipper is trying to control but Pohjanala is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Skipper trying to control but Pohjanala is having none of it. Skipper is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pohjanala can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skipper goes for an armbar but Pohjanala turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Pohjanala. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Skipper is breathing heavily. Pohjanala working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Pohjanala looking to pass the guard. Skipper is looking for a triangle but Pohjanala pushes his legs off easily.
Skipper wants to improve his position but instead Pohjanala has moved into half guard.
Pohjanala thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Pohjanala wants to free his trapped foot but Skipper is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Skipper is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Pohjanala pulls his head out easily. Skipper has a hand on Pohjanala's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Pohjanala takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Pohjanala takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Skipper is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Skipper is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Skipper tries to reverse the position but Pohjanala maintains control. Skipper manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skipper is staying active underneath Pohjanala, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Skipper is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pohjanala's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pohjanala's back! Skipper has his arm under Pohjanala's chin here. Game over son! Skipper squeezes tightly and Pohjanala is forced to tap out!
