Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Baran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hussak Claw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baran kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Beach Boys - Barbara Ann . Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hussak Claw! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Claw scores with a takedown into Baran's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Claw drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Claw jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Claw postures up in Baran's guard and throws a big left but Baran blocks it. Baran is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Baran wants to stand up but Claw is controlling him. Claw drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Baran manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Claw has Baran in his guard. Baran is looking to work some ground and pound but Claw has wrist control. Claw had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Baran defends it easily.

Claw keeping moving, preventing Baran from controlling successfully. Baran has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Claw is proving hard to escape from. Hussak Claw dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Baran looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Baran! Claw is looking to reverse the position. Claw looking for a sweep but Baran has passed into full mount! Oh no! Baran lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Claw bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Baran striking off his back but it's not causing Claw any problems. Baran keeping full guard, as Claw tries to pass. Claw postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Baran has his hands clasped together but Claw extends an breaks Baran's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Claw.
