Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Cardigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seijurou Yoshioka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cardigan's entrance music is cold as ice. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshioka on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cardigan. Cardigan obviously looking to wear him down.
Cardigan tries to close the distance and clinch but Yoshioka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Yoshioka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cardigan thows a leg kick but Yoshioka checks it
and Yoshioka counters with a stiff right hand.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cardigan is defended easily by Yoshioka.
Yoshioka misses with a hook. Cardigan ducked under it nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cardigan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cardigan shoots in but Yoshioka avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cardigan throws a leg kick
and Yoshioka counters with a straight right hand.
Cardigan throws a looping overhand right but Yoshioka ducks down to avoid it.
Cardigan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Yoshioka manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Yoshioka scores with a punch to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Yoshioka counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Yoshioka moves out of range of the leg kick from Cardigan.
Orlando Cardigan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yoshioka looks to score with a jab to the body but Cardigan is just out of range.
Yoshioka blocks a head kick by Cardigan.

Yoshioka walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Yoshioka manages to break the clinch.

Cardigan shoots for a takedown but Yoshioka saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Cardigan is breathing heavily.

and Yoshioka counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Yoshioka connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cardigan momentarily.

Cardigan looks for the body kick but Yoshioka saw that one coming.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cardigan. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Yoshioka lands a body shot.
Yoshioka drops Cardigan with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Cardigan! Yoshioka dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
