Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Connor Cozad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor MacManus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Connor MacManus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cozad throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Cozad counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Cozad counters with a three punch combo that has MacManus backing up. MacManus nods at Cozad to acknowledge the strikes.
MacManus fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cozad to the ground. MacManus is now in Cozad's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cozad has his foot on MacManus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. MacManus works his way back into a safe position though.

Cozad is looking to stand but Cozad has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
MacManus tries to control Cozad's body but Cozad pushes him off. MacManus squirms to his side and now Cozad has his back!
Will Cozad go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
You can see the frustration on MacManus's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Cozad has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
