Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Doctor Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lorenzo Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Doctor Jones. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Doctor Jones! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lorenzo Snow! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snow throws an off balance right hand
and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jones throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Snow on the side of the head. Jones pushes Snow away with a front kick. Jones finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Nice defenses there by Jones. Snow throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Snow throws out the jab. Snow takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Snow connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands. Snow just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Snow sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jones swings for the body but Snow moves out of range.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jones. Snow shrugs it off though. Jones swinging wildly here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jones feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Snows jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Jones throws a lazy right hand but Snow sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Jones jabs Snow right on the nose. Snow blinks but takes it well. Snow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center. Snow pushes Jones up against the cage in a clinch. Snow tries a body shot but Jones blocks it.

Snow will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jones up against the cage. Jones tries to score a body lock takedown but Snow shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Jones trying to land knees to the body.
Jones scores with a shot to the side of Snow's head. Jones digs a right hand underneath Snow's ribcage. Snow let out a lung full of air as it connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones trying to land knees to the body.

Jones is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doctor Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones has Snow pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Snow manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. A quick uppercut on the inside from Jones. Jones wants a takedown but no success here.

Snow lands on the inside with an uppercut. Jones pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Jones lands an elbow inside. Snow lands with a short head shot on the inside. Snow's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Jones blocks a punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones prevents a body shot from Snow. Jones misses with a punch to the body.
Jones has picked Snow up - he's going for a ride! Jones dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Jones working over Snow with some ground and pound. Snow looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones prevents Snow from improving his position. Jones throws a strike but Snow avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Snow avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jones is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Snow keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Snow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones throwing strikes from guard but Snow blocks nicely. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones trying to control but Snow is working from the bottom. Jones controlling from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doctor Jones dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Snow tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Snow moves out of range of the body kick from Jones.
Snow wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance. Snow checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Jones misses with a looping right. Snow throws a jab when Jones was well out of range. Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Snow stalks Jones and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jones's face. Jones staggers backwards, shaken.
Jones is rocked! Snow sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Jones's defenses. It connects perfectly with Jones's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lorenzo Snow! Lorenzo Snow is the new middleweight champion!
