Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob McGrady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGrady kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child. Stark comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dance Hall Days kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Johnny Stark told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGrady looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGrady looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Stark makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Stark.
Stark trying to keep a closed guard but McGrady is proving a slippery customer.
McGrady loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
McGrady trying to control the position from guard on top but Stark is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stark is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

McGrady has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

McGrady is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Stark escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McGrady gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

McGrady tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Stark wants to control from the top but McGrady keeps moving.

McGrady is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
McGrady is trying to control the position but Stark postures up.
Stark wants to control from the top but McGrady keeps moving.
McGrady lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stark!

McGrady is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Stark can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Stark is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McGrady loads up with a big shot that hurts Stark! He's pulled McGrady in close but McGrady has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Stark survive? More strikes from McGrady and Stark is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
