Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Studebaker Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taco Grande (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hawk might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to silver hawk. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grande throws a body punch but Hawk moves out of range.
Hawk throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hawk bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hawk slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Grande throws a leg kick which misses Hawk's front leg but catches the back leg as Hawk tries to avoid it.
Hawk fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Grande avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Hawk just misses with a punch to the body.
Hawk shoots in looking for a takedown. Grande tries to sprawl out of it but Hawk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Grande manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
