Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Richmond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Black & Yellow . James Richmond will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Richmond coming out on top.
A jab lands there for Richmond.

It looks like Rickson Gracie has been cut.
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Richmond counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Gracie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Richmond sprawls well. Richmond wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
Richmond slips a jab from Gracie.
Gracie takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Richmond sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rickson Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Richmond circles away.
Richmond throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Richmond tests Gracie's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Gracie showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Richmond.

Gracie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Richmond counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Gracie falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
