Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JeanGuy Rubberboot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rubberboot's entrance music is Anticipateurs - G.S.P. . A fine choice. Taylor has chosen Back To School by Deftones as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. JeanGuy Rubberboot has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubberboot fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Taylor avoids it really well and circles away.
Rubberboot ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Taylor moves away.
Rubberboot closes the distance and clinches up with Taylor, looking for a takedown. Rubberboot pushes Taylor against the cage but Taylor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rubberboot tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Taylor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A clash of legs there as Rubberboot blocks the low kick.
Taylor misses with a two punch combination.
JeanGuy Rubberboot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rubberboot fails with a takedown attempt.

Rubberboot dives in and grabs Taylor's left leg, looking for a takedown. Taylor pushes down on Rubberboot's head and hops out.

Taylor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rubberboot. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rubberboot throws and elbow that misses. Taylor uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rubberboot's guard. Nice move by Taylor!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rubberboot working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Taylor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Taylor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Taylor is pressing down on Rubberboot's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rubberboot is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rubberboot wants to improve his position but Taylor is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Taylor throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Taylor throws a series of punches but Rubberboot avoids them all with ease.
Rubberboot doesn't manage to clinch there - Taylor circles away.
Horrible takedown by Rubberboot or perhaps it was just good defense by Taylor which made him look bad.

Rubberboot thows a huge punch but Taylor dodges it nicely.
