3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Riley! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson misses with a head kick.
Jackson thows a leg kick but Riley checks it and Riley counters by clinching up. Jackson working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Jackson wants to break free but Riley has control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackson has a couple of punches blocked by Riley.

Jackson misses with a short punch on the inside. Jackson swings wildly with an uppercut but Riley uses good head movement to avoid it. Jackson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Riley breaks the clinch.
Riley shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jackson is trying to defend but Riley finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Jackson wants to get back to his feet.
Riley stands up and beckons Jackson to join him on the feet.

Chris Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A head kick by Jackson misses and Riley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jackson's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson wants to stand and escape but Riley is having none of it. Riley slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Riley sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jackson's guard. Riley seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Riley has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Riley is controlling him. Jackson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Riley controls the pace. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jackson is fighting the takedown attempt but Riley gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Riley decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Riley scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riley circles away from the clinch attempt and Riley counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Riley decides to stand up. Jackson throws a lazy head kick so Riley counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Riley stands and steps away. Jackson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. A head kick misses from Jackson. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jackson tries to clinch but Riley is having none of it. Riley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Riley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Max Riley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Riley dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Riley prevents Jackson from standing back up.

Max Riley is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Jackson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jackson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Riley showing good wrestling skills to control the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
