Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rune shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wiggin as he avoids it easily.
Rune shoots in for a takedown but Wiggin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wiggin forces Rune back against the cage and clinches.
A nice right hand lands inside from Wiggin.
Wiggin is pressed up against the cage. Rune has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wiggin down to the mat. Wiggin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bad Boy Rune. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rune looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wiggin is fending him off so far but Rune persists. Nope, Wiggin circles away and we're back to standing.

Wiggin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rune shoots in looking for a takedown. Wiggin tries to sprawl out of it but Rune keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wiggin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
