PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caius Creatine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Creatine comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sabaton - Metal Crue kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Douglas Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Caius Creatine!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a big shot that misses.
Creatine tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance.
Brown throws a shot from downtown. Creatine moves away and avoids it.
Brown throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Brown swats away the attempt to clinch by Creatine.
Brown stuffs the takedown attempt from Creatine. Creatine gets slowly back to his feet.
Brown lands a lovely overhand right.
Creatine looks for a takedown but Brown sprawls well.
Brown looks to land a combination. Creatine sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Brown lands a jab to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Creatine fails with the takedown.
Douglas Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caius Creatine.
Creatine blocks a jab.
Creatine throws a right hand that Brown ducks under and follows up with a left that Brown also avoids with ease.
Brown keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Brown sizes up Creatine with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Creatine takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A slow jab from Brown misses its intended target.
Creatine walks into a left hand.
Brown is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Brown feints and then cracks Creatine's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Creatine down.
Brown paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Creatine tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brown swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fighters circle momentarily. Brown darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Brown cracks Creatine on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Creatine falls backwards against the cage. Brown follows up with more strikes that drop Creatine to his knees. Brown keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Creatine! This one is all over!
