The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Priest throws a jab when Lewis was well out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Priest.
Lewis takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Lewis moves out of range as Priest strikes.
Lenny Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Priest shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Priest throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Priest feints and then cracks Lewis's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lewis down.
Lewis misses with a jab, cross combination.

Priest forces Lewis back against the ropes and clinches.
Priest wants to stall.
Lewis tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Priest pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Priest trying to control the position but instead, Lewis has worked for underhooks and has pushed Priest into the ropes.
Priest lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lewis takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Lenny Lewis has been cut.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Priest.
Priest tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lewis avoids it.
A short uppercut from Priest.
Lewis throws a punch but it's blocked by Priest.
Priest avoiding damage.
Lewis misses with a punch on the inside.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Lewis tries to break the clinch but Priest is controlling the position.

Lewis lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Priest backwards.

Lewis wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Lewis takes an elbow to the forehead.
Priest swings wildly with an uppercut but Lewis uses good head movement to avoid it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lewis blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Still in the clinch, Priest scores with a nice short uppercut.
Priest is pressed up against the ropes. Lewis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Priest down to the mat. Priest avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Lewis on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Priest tries to clinch up but Lewis circles away and keeps his distance.
Lewis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Priest counters with a stiff right hand.
Priest uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lewis.
Priest throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lewis has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Priest.
A decent looking cross lands there for Priest.

That has opened up Lenny Lewis's cut even more.
Priest tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lewis walks into a stiff left hand from Priest.
Priest throws a right and a left that both miss.
Priest connects with a solid leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Priest connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lewis momentarily.
Lewis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Priest.
Priest fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lewis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Priest was well out of range. Poor timing from Lewis.
A punch combination from Lewis misses.
Lewis misses with a head kick.
Lewis has a takedown stuffed.
Lewis looks gassed!
A slapping body kick lands there for Priest.
Lewis takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Priest lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The cut above Lenny Lewis's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Priest is looking to slow Lewis down with leg kicks.
Priest throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Priest! Lewis is out on his feet! Priest rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Lewis is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Lewis is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
